Synopsis:
Our comprehensive five-day workshop provides hands-on experience in
planning and installing Microsoft’s EPM Solution. The objective
is to give participants the background and hands-on skills to properly
plan, scale, deploy, integrate, and configure an integrated EPM infrastructure
by understanding each of the core technologies of a Microsoft Project

About the Class
This course is shaped by our EPM deployment experiences gained from the
pre-release of Project Server back in 1999 to the present. The course
structure follows our planning and deployment methodology and focuses
on the issues, technology, and management considerations we have found
to be essential for a successful EPM deployment.
The singular focus of this workshop is to enable your organization to
correctly deploy Project Server 2003, recognizing that your deployment
will need to change over time to adapt to your changing project management
and IT environments.
Why five-days? This is not a lecture series - popping up the hood and
getting our hands greasy takes time!
Is the training environment for this course difficult to set up? Absolutely!
It has taken us a huge investment to set up a training environment appropriate
for this class. Lack of expertise and lack of an adequate training facility
are the primary reasons that so few training companies can offer courses
of this caliber - we strive to provide each participant with access to
a training environment that mirrors the complexity found in actual IT
environments.

and most important - why.
Participants will be provided with practical tools to assess their organization’s
needs, develop a configuration plan, and to configure the entire Microsoft
Project suite to meet your organization’s specific needs.
Each participant is provided their own Project Server installation to
configure and maintain. For courses at this level this is an absolute
necessity – any training organization that fails to do so is not
